This experience is organized so you can fully understand the real geisha culture (not what is falsely described in some famous movie...) and get ready to fully enjoy the special moment at Geisha entertainment when you attend one in the future.
Based on Kana's experience of attending Geisha entertainment dinner numerous times in Kyoto for work, she will explain the real geisha culture using photos and videos.
*Please note this is not real-time geisha entertainment interacting with geisha ladies -- this is a class where we discuss the geisha culture using photos and videos.
Message from Kana
Since 2009, I have been lucky enough to meet and guide over 5,000 guests from around the world and enjoyed sharing the beauty of Japan.
At the same time, I realize that not everyone who is interested in Japan is actually visiting here. And among those who do visit Japan, not everyone hires a guide -- this means the number of people I can meet and share the beauty of Japan with is incredibly tiny.
During the COVID time, I started offering online experiences and seminars about Japanese culture through travel companies, and I was happily surprised that I could meet so many more people at one time than I can during in-person tours.
For this reason, I decided to keep offering online classes myself even after COVID has been somewhat settled so I can continue meeting those who are interested in Japan, and share my passion and knowledge about Japanese beautiful culture.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing fun study time with you!
