What's SHOKUNIN?

SHOKUNIN is NOT just artisan.
It’s
“SELFLESS ARTISAN
DEVOTED TO
CENTURIES-OLD ART”.

When you look up the word "shokunin" in a dictionary, you will find translation "Japanese artisan or craftsman" but it does not quite fully convey the meaning of shokunin.

It's actually "selfless artisan devoted to the centuries-old art".
